Tasmania Roadtrip Week1 - NSW

We started to travel through a lot of smoke and wondered how close the fires were to us. The roads were still open so we kept going south stopping occasionally for some wine tasting or to investigate a "brown sign". Our proposed stop for the 3rd night was Dalys Clearing in the State Forest which was a free camp BUT the sign said "Closed. Catastrophic Fire Danger". We camped in the nearby Kingsbury VC Rest Area - also free with toilets but with road noise unfortunately. Our sunsets were getting interesting!
